Purpose Statement: We Go All In to find Common Ground in Making an Eternal Difference in Sahuarita and Around the World in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Common Ground gets it name from 1 Cor. 9:22-23 where Paul says, “Yes, whatever a person is like, I try to find common ground with him so that he will let me tell him about Christ and let Christ save him. I do this to get the Gospel to them and also for the blessing I myself receive when I see them come to Christ.” (1 Cor. 9:22-23) This is our purpose as a church. Our desire is to find Common Ground with others within the bounds of our Christian faith to earn the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ.”

In doing this, we have a couple of key phrases at Common Ground:

We are Not Members but Ministers: At Common Ground, we do not have members. Members are people who join organizations to GET something. Instead, we are Ministers. MINISTERS want to be part of something to GIVE themselves away. So, when people decide to make a decision to go ALL IN, they become ministers to our community through Common Ground.
